The DeVilbiss MPV Air fed visor and waist belt filter The DeVilbiss MPV Air fed visor and waist belt filter The DeVilbiss MPV Air fed visor and waist belt filter

The DeVilbiss MPV Air fed visor and waist belt filter are tested and approved to Australian / New Zealand standards AS/NZ 1715/1716:1994 and when used in conjunction with a DeVilbiss DVFR-2 filter coalescer comply with requirements for supplied air breathing equipment in areas such as spray booths.

The MPV supplied air visor has a lightweight fully adjustable headband and brow guard. The neck and ears are also protected with a disposable cover. The detachable acetate visor has flexible face skirt incorporating a diffused compressed air feed tube. The visor can be lifted up from the face when the operator is not working in a hazardous area. Two half turn tension knobs adjust the visor movement.

The visor air feed tube is connected to a filter/regulator attached to the waist belt. The preset compressed air pressure regulator maintains a constant flow of air of the visor. Operating pressure is a minimum (preset) 1.0 BAR. Normal flow rate to the visor 180 litres/min.

The disposable activated carbon filter removes odour and oil vapour. The filter should be changed when odours are no longer effectively removed or when oil vapour is detectable by odour or sight. Appropriate filters should be fitted at the supply hose inlet to remove bulk oil, water and particulate matter.

A short hose with connections is supplied for the attachment of a spray gun or air tool to the belt inlet supply. Two disposable visor covers and a disposable hood for additional skin protection when used with materials containing chemicals that have harmful effects are also provided.

Sundstrom SR100
Sundstrom SR100 masks are the very best. Different cartridges enable a variety of uses – the two main types are particle filters and gas filters. Particle filters don’t protect against gas, and visa versa, but they can be piggybacked where required - a very good system. Advantages: The soft Silicone mask is very comfortable to wear – others can really chaff in extended use – so people don’t put them on. The suppleness of material gives superior sealing characteristics. New valve caps with air diffusion means no clogging during spray jobs. Available in Small/Medium and Medium/Large sizes.
